Modern Love Letters

This series was inspired by a conversation with my mum who was upset that after my dad died and her phone broke, that she no longer had his messages - particularly one spelling out 'I love you' in the aviation alphabet (he had recently got his pilot licence). These pieces are a playful exploration of love in the digital age.

Each piece is created using the ancient technique of pâte-de-verre (glass paste) and is framed measuring 31 x 23 x 3 cm.
