Garden of Metamorphosis
A living landscape of transformation, Garden of Metamorphosis explores cycles of change, growth, and renewal. 50 delicate lampworked glass forms, illuminated by shifting LED patterns, evoke the flickering interplay of light and time. As the entire structure slowly rotates, shadows and reflections dance across the space, creating a constantly evolving experience—never the same in any given moment. Beneath each glass element, embedded LEDs pulse in an organic rhythm, their colours shifting in response to programmed sequences. The presence of moss, a living material, further grounds the piece in the dialogue between the ephemeral and the eternal. Above the Garden hangs Aurelian; an ominous cluster of blown glass forms representing the darker side of transformation and the challenges inherent in the process of growth. Metamorphosis Wishing Vessel I was placed beside the work with a space for the audience to write their wishes and dreams of transformation, whether personal or global.
Like nature itself, Garden of Metamorphosis exists in perpetual motion, reminding us that transformation is not a singular event but an ongoing, luminous journey.
